Child Impact International
Kellogg Mookerjee Memorial School
Child Impact International urgently needs a new administration and classroom building at Kellogg Mookerjee Memorial School, a large boarding school and orphanage in Southern Bangladesh. There are 500 students and 175 of them are orphans. The building is 75 years old and a recent engineer’s report recommends demolition immediately because it is located in a seismic active area.
The saline soil has also deteriorated the concrete columns and the walls are crumbling revealing rusted rebar—something we’ll address during reconstruction. The proposed new multi-purpose building would house a preschool, classrooms, library and administrative offices. Your contribution will help to reconstruct the building and insure the safety of students and staff.
