Giving Done Well is more than a
money-fixes-everything approach. We partner with non-profits and help them reach their potential and fulfill their mission.
A message from our founders
Every night before we sleep, my wife Jill and I pray for our family, neighbors, business and staff. One night it was different for us.
We found ourselves praying about how much need we saw in the world, both locally and globally. We were two exhausted souls praying, “And Lord, take our five loaves and two fishes, which seems like a drop in the bucket of a thirsty planet and guide us to do the most good with it. We want to make this world a better place”.
The idea to create Five Loaves was born in that moment! And we seek those who are like-minded, in giving wisely and intentionally. We are humanitarian in our nature, partnering with anyone who loves and has compassion on others, because helping them is the right thing to do. We embrace all faiths and those with other convictions.
There’s a better way to give, and Five Loaves is committed to sharing the best insights for both donor and recipient.
Our commitment to fund the administrative expenses of Five Loaves, so that 100% of donations go to recipient organizations, is something we’re excited to do.

100% of Your Money Goes Directly to Projects
We partner with Community Development Inc (CDI), who privately funds 100% of our administrative and fundraising costs, so that 100% of your donation can go fully to the project of your choice.
We Vet Every Project We Present to You
Projects we partner with must meet standards related to mission, operations, philanthropy, and staying power. Each partner agrees to adopt a Development Plan to enhance capacity and authenticity. Each partner signs a Binding Agreement that outlines the project goals, timeline, and completion benchmarks. All funds are released as installments as goals are achieved. Final payments are reserved until the final inspection is completed.
We Provide Mentorship to our Partners
To us, Giving Done Well includes training for, coaching, and mentoring our partners success. Five Loaves Foundation is partnered with CoLab’s Non-profit Boot Camp to provide mentoring support for our partners. Each is connected to education modules focused on best practices at our CoLab Bootcamps. Where we encourage innovation, collaboration, and strategic planning. Our goal is to build capacity, validate outcomes, and safeguard transparency so that our project partners will be around for years to come.
